Outer Haven is a nonprofit rooted in mentorship, agriculture, and outdoor education, creating spaces where young people and families learn to grow food, build resilience, and connect with nature. Through school gardens, food forests, and community partnerships, we empower youth to become leaders of tomorrow.

*School Gardens & Food Forests – Installed and maintained at Lake Middle School, Colfax Elementary, and Grant Ranch ECE–8, teaching hands-on agriculture and environmental stewardship.
*Youth Mentorship & Leadership – Programs in podcasting, radio (Lake Knight Radio), DJ/music education, and food entrepreneurship (microgreens, Little Green Gardens kits).
*Community Agriculture Hubs – Partnerships at Blue Bear Farm, Seeds of Power Farm, and Metro Caring Greenhouse to expand local food production and training.
*Outdoor Education & Rites of Passage – Camping, archery, and land-based learning to foster resilience, teamwork, and cultural storytelling.
