We are a grassroots nonprofit organization working toward food sovereignty and food justice in the Four Corners through equitable food access, workshops, participatory opportunities and values-based food procurement. We operate a free market-style grocery, community gardens, a teaching garden for Indigenous and cultural growing practices, and a warehouse for community-led events.
Since 2020, we have quadrupled the number of people served through our free grocery program while increasing the amount of healthy and traditional food available. We’ve implemented community-led feedback methods, created partnerships with over 20 local organizations while moving literal tons of food to other food access organizations and to isolated communities on tribal land. We have distributed 150 individual garden boxes with supplies, raised over 3000 plant starts for free distribution, served as the fiscal sponsor for mutual aid groups and grassroots organizations and supported partners through collaborative grants and outreach efforts.
Currently, we feed an average of 2000 individuals each month and empower over 300 youth and adults each year through free and inclusive workshops to bring food knowledge, Indigenous traditions, and healthy practices back to their communities.
From 2024-2025, we sent over $100,000 back into local Four Corners communities through culturally-important and healthy food purchases to small producers.
