BiG Heroes empowers young adults with disabilities through life skills, job training, and hands-on experiences like growing our own food that build confidence and purpose. By fostering inclusion, independence, and real-world learning, we create a stronger, more connected community where every individual is valued and belongs.
At BiG Heroes, our focus encompasses Kitchen and Gardening, Health, Wellness, Communication and Job Skills, and Production—providing comprehensive programs that foster culinary creativity, teach the skills to grow and prepare nutritious food, promote physical and mental well-being, and equip individuals with essential job skills for meaningful employment opportunities – some working in food preparation type jobs.
We currently serve 36 young adults, with 20 of them proudly employed.
