Welcome to the Big Green DAO Governance Portal!

It’s a big day for the Big Green DAO! We are launching our very own DApp (Decentralized App) to make voting in the Big Green DAO as easy as possible. There is a little bit of setup required for each user, but we’ll walk you through it every step of the way. And once you’re logged in, you’ll have DAO governance at your fingertips!

First you’ll navigate to the portal at dao.biggreen.org and make sure you have the MetaMask extension installed on your browser.

This is the homepage of the Big Green DAO Governance Portal. From here you can navigate to governance proposals, grants round voting, and access historical data from the DAO. The URL is dao.biggreen.org

If you haven't added Metamask to your browser yet, you'll need to download the extension first. You can download the extension at https://metamask.io/download/ Once installed, you should see a fox icon in your browser.

Now you’re ready to connect your wallet to the governance portal so you can easily log in to vote on DAO grants and decisions.

Click on the Metamask icon and log into your wallet using your credentials.

On the Big Green DAO Governance Portal, click to connect your wallet in the upper right hand corner. This is how you will create your profile, connect your wallet, and see your token.

When you click "Connect your Wallet" you'll get a popup from MetaMask. Choose the wallet you want to connect (most of you will only have one!) and click next. When prompted on the next screen, choose "Connect."

Before you can vote, you will need to add the Polygon network to your wallet. This is the network our token operates on.

If you have already voted in the Big Green DAO, you may not have to switch to Polygon. If this is your first time, you'll have to click the orange button to add Polygon to your wallet. This is the network the Big Green DAO token operates on.

In the MetaMask popup, click "approve" and on the following screen click "switch network."

Complete your profile with your name and email address and you’re ready to go!

Now add your name and email and click "Submit" to complete your profile. That's it! You'll see your $GARDEN token is already in your wallet and you're ready to start voting.
