There are now two open seats for new leaders to help guide the DAO’s future. Nominate yourself by January 10, 2025.

    Your organization will receive an annual grant of $25K–$50K for each year of your three-year term, depending on the size of the DAO treasury.

How to participate

  1. Step one

  2. Step two

    Prepare your nomination materials

    You will need a headshot, a short video introducing yourself to the community as a nominee, and some time to answer a few questions to support your nomination.

  3. Step three

    Complete your nomination application

    Complete the nomination application by January 10, 2025.

  4. Step four

    Join the Big Green DAO Slack

    Join the Big Green DAO Slack channel to introduce yourself and get to know the voters.

  5. Step five

    Vote

    Vote to elect the next two committee members. Voting will go live January 20, 2025 and close January 26, 2025.

  • December 16, 2024 - January 10, 2025 Nomination Period
  • January 15, 2025 Nominees Announced
  • January 20 - January 25, 2025 Voting Period
  • January 29, 2025 Committee Members Announced

WHAT IS REQUIRED OF COMMITTEE MEMBERS

  • Participation at virtual bi-weekly planning meetings.
  • Attendance at quarterly in-person governance meeting (2-3 days each).
  • Responsibility for stewarding the DAO’s governance: election protocols, grant parameters, budget priorities, and strategic planning.
  • Willingness to learn, lead, and innovate in support of the collective growth of the DAO and its members.
