Seeding
Spinach requires a moderate amount of space to grow. To plant spinach in your grow bag, make three evenly spaced holes in a triangle formation. Place 2-3 seeds in each hole, about ½” deep. Lightly cover the seeds with soil and water. Once the seedlings have sprouted, thin them to 1 strong plant per hole.

Garden Tips
Spinach is a cold-hardy leafy green that can overwinter in many climates, meaning it can survive through the winter and resume growth in the spring. When planted in late fall, spinach enters a dormant state during the colder months, protected by mulch and snow. As temperatures rise in early spring, it bursts back to life, producing tender, sweet leaves excellent for early spring harvests.
