Seeding
Cover crops are a great way to keep your soil healthy during the off-season. There are many cover crop blends that benefit the soil in different ways, primarily by replenishing nutrients used up during previous growing seasons. To plant, take a ¼ cup of the seed blend and evenly scatter the seeds over the soil in your grow bag. Lightly rake the seeds into the soil to cover, then water gently.

Garden Tips
A blend of peas, oats, and vetch is a powerhouse for soil health during the off-season. Peas and vetch fix nitrogen from the air into the soil, enriching it for future crops, while oats prevent erosion and suppress weeds with their dense root system. Together, they add organic matter to the soil, improve its structure, and keep it alive with microbial activity.
