Seeding
Carrots need a moderate amount of space to grow. To plant carrots in your grow bag, make 4-6 evenly spaced holes in staggered grid formation. Place 2-3 seeds in each hole, about ¼” deep. Lightly cover the seeds with soil and water. Once the seedlings have sprouted, thin them to 1 strong plant per hole.

Garden Tips
For root vegetables like carrots, soil health is critical to ensure optimal root development. Unlike leafy vegetables, which thrive on high nitrogen levels. Root vegetables require a balanced supply of phosphorus and potassium to grow strong, healthy roots. Too much nitrogen can lead to an imbalance, resulting in large, lush leaves but underdeveloped or stunted roots.
