Seeding

Bush beans can grow up to 2 ft. tall, and requires a significant amount of space to grow. Place two holes evenly spaced 4-6” apart  in the soil of your grow bag, and plant 2-3 seeds to give the plant enough room to thrive. Thin to 1 plant once they have sprouted.

Garden Tips

Bush beans are nitrogen-fixers, meaning they add valuable nutrients back into the soil, making them an excellent companion plant for heavy feeders like corn or squash. Unlike pole beans, bush beans grow in a compact, bushy form and do not require trellising, making them a low-maintenance crop.
