Dig In. Partner with Big Green

Together, OXO and Big Green brought home gardens and the resources to grow fresh, healthy food to thousands of families across Denver, San Antonio, Memphis, and Miami Gardens. The impact went far beyond produce. For example, our featured grantee, Cynthia Burris used her garden to heal not only her health, but her grief after losing her husband to diet-related illness. The partnership extended into media too, with the “Little Green Chefs” video series and a collaborative social campaign that brought these stories to national audiences.

EY’s partnership went deeper than a check. Teams volunteered at garden sites locally and virtually across the globe. Beyond hands-on work, they contributed skills-based projects in evaluation, equity, and corporate social responsibility that strengthened Big Green’s organizational impact from the inside out. EY leadership joined our board, creating a strategic collaboration where their commitment to equity and innovation found a genuine home in our mission to get everyone in America growing food.

Wells Fargo brought their teams to the ground level. Employee volunteer days at garden sites created real connections between staff and the communities they serve. Their support placed Big Green’s signature garden beds on the Wells Fargo corporate campus itself — turning headquarters into a symbol of the commitment. In Chicago, together we welcomed local leaders and media to a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new program site, celebrating a milestone that was bigger than either of us could have reached alone.

Pampered Chef donated complete Kitchen Kits to 500 Big Green schools, valued at $150,000, giving teachers the tools to cook what their students were growing. The partnership launched their “Classroom Kitchen” program with a one-for-one give-back model, weaving Big Green into their product story from the conference stage to the classroom. The result was a partnership that moved from the garden bed to the kitchen counter, and showed up on social media, in classrooms, and at the conference table.

Gordon Food Service believed that the kids growing food and the stores selling food should exist in the same world. As the anchor donor for the launch of Big Green Detroit with a $1 million investment, they made that connection real. GFS employees showed up to Learning Garden kick-off days, rolling up their sleeves alongside students. They ran tasting stations featuring the same produce kids were planting that day, turning the garden into a live classroom. Big Green created co-branded reusable grocery bags distributed at the event and in local GFS stores, putting the partnership directly in the hands of the community it served. The collaboration extended inside the company too, with Big Green leadership speaking at internal meetings to inspire employees around the mission.
