Our Grantees The Healthy Earth Organization

The Healthy Earth Organization is a Southwest Florida nonprofit dedicated to inspiring environmental stewardship through hands-on education, sustainable food access, and community engagement. We create impactful programs—ranging from community gardens and fresh food distribution to coastal cleanups and environmental education—that empower individuals of all ages to care for the planet and build healthier, more resilient communities.

Each year, The Healthy Earth Organization serves over 2,000 children, families, and community members across Southwest Florida through programs that promote sustainability, healthy living, and environmental awareness. Our key initiatives include:

  • Community Gardens & Fresh Food Access – Producing and distributing hundreds of pounds of fresh produce annually through traditional and aeroponic gardens.
  • Environmental Education – Delivering hands-on, no-cost environmental education to 14 early learning centers, impacting 874 young students each year. -Wellness & Community Engagement – Offering free public wellness activities, volunteer opportunities, and collaborative events that connect people with nature.
  • Coastal Conservation – Hosting monthly beach cleanups that remove 400–500 pounds of debris per event, transforming waste into educational art installations.

Our efforts are building healthier communities, protecting local ecosystems, and inspiring the next generation of environmental stewards.
