Our Grantees Manna

The mission of Manna is to provide, in the spirit of faith and love, nourishing meals and supportive services in an atmosphere of acceptance and caring for those days. Manna’s holistic resource center brings together more services under one roof, offering supportive services, food access, employment training programs, and an onsite garden that distributes nutrient-dense, high quality, and culturally relevant produce at no cost.

Manna serves 4,000 people annually between our resource center, food access programs, and extended services.

2024 Outcomes:

  • Community Kitchen & Take Out Window: Served 48,818 meals. These meals are no-barrier and available to any person in our community.
  • Food Market: 13,312 visits and 318,797 pounds of food were distributed. These visits served 2,418 unique individuals.
  • Resource Center: This program connected 2,996 participants with supportive services. Another low barrier resource, this program serves people seeking assistance with housing, employment, identification, food programs, showers, laundry services, transportation, community-wide supportive services, and emergency financial assistance.
  • Garden: Manna grew 2,430 pounds of produce that was distributed back to the community through meals and food market.
  • Culinary Program: 39 students graduated from the program, in which 27 of the graduating students became employed. Classes were provided to at-risk teens attending alternative high schools and adults experiencing financial/employment insecurity.
  • Take-Home Backpack Program: Manna distributed 7,279 bags full of food. This program serves children experiencing food insecurity.
  • WAGEES: Total participants served in 2024 were 42. This reentry program serves people exiting prison and transitioning to parole. Referrals come from the Colorado Department of Corrections and focus on people seeking assistance with housing, employment, education, or life skills.
  • Rapid Rehousing: Manna served 29 households. 21 households received security deposit assistances, 6 households with rental assistance and 2 households with bridge assistance. This program specifically provides services to people experiencing homelessness who are reentering housing.
  • Homelessness Prevention Program: This program launched in August 2024 and has assisted 7 households with rental assistance and/or ongoing case management.
  • Street Outreach: We served 175 people. This program serves people experiencing homelessness, connecting with them in the community rather than at an agency or office.
  • CMP/Manna Family Housing Program: 39 households (97 individuals) have been served through this program, providing bridge housing support, supportive services and housing stabilization case management. This program serves unhoused families with children
