Kindness Farm is a multicultural, queer-led regenerative community farm in SE Portland, cultivating the flourishing and upliftment of our communities through access to land, environmental education, and fresh, nutritious food.
Every year, we provide access to land and education for thousands of children and adults in Portland. We also distribute thousands of pounds of fresh, healthy, nutrient-dense, culturally-relevant produce to neighbors experiencing food insecurity… all while preserving and regeneratively tending 2.5 urban acres full of trees, perennials, flowers, medicine plants, and wildlife.
In the last 5 years, we’ve:
Provided access to land and gardening and environmental education to 7,484 kids & adults.
Grown 31,506 pounds of produce that provided 83,641 meals, produce boxes, and free food pantry contributions.
Engaged a diverse, committed community to create a healing space with 33,781 volunteer hours of many loving hands tending this land.
