Hand, Heart, and Soul Project (HHSP) is a nonprofit organization committed to nurturing, celebrating, and advancing the needs of historically marginalized communities by creating equitable access to high-quality educational, nutritional, and community resources. Our mission is to cultivate wellness through equitable access to nutrient-dense foods, holistic education, and advocacy as we sow seeds of liberation; physically, emotionally, and systemically, through programs grounded in community knowledge, culturally affirming practices, and a deep belief in collective power. HHSP’s objectives include expanding access to fresh, locally grown food through community gardens, farm stands, and mobile markets; supporting early care and education centers with outdoor learning, nutrition education, and wellness programming; and advancing policy and systems change that centers community voices in food justice and early childhood development. Our work includes the Unity Farm Stand and Market, SNAP-Ed programming, stewardship of multiple community gardens, and our annual event, the Gathering, which convenes community leaders to shape grassroots-led policy conversations. Headquartered in Clayton County, Georgia, HHSP is actively expanding across the greater Atlanta region, serving as an anchor for healing and systems disruption, and building a future where every individual has what they need to thrive.
