Join us on February 24, 2024 at Madison Elementary for two in-person professional learning sessions that will get you growing. This gathering is an opportunity to learn, share, and prepare for your school’s new Learning Garden.Learning Garden grantees should plan to have at least one representative attend both sessions. Schools that were granted Jumpstart (funding only) grants without Learning Gardens, should only attend the afternoon session.

SESSION 1: 10:00-12:30, LEARNING GARDEN SETUP
FOR LEARNING GARDEN GRANTEES BUILDING THEIR GARDENS THIS SPRING.
Dive into a hands-on training session to construct your new Learning Garden. Our pros will guide you step-by-step through assembling the garden beds from start to finish so you will be ready to install your own gardens back at school. Lunch will be served.
- Each school may register up to two team members to attend Session 1
- At least one team member of each school receiving a Learning Garden must attend this session.

SESSION 2: 11:30-2:00, LEARNING, TEACHING, & EATING IN THE GARDEN
FOR ALL JUMPSTART GRANTEES AND ANY SCHOOL INTERESTED IN BRINGING GARDEN EDUCATION TO LIFE!
Connect with other Savannah educators and school garden champions over a garden-to-classroom lunch, and explore firsthand teaching in the garden activities you can bring to your students!
