Since 2011, Big Green has provided a real food education to students in underserved schools across the country. We have grown from a handful of Learning Gardens and a staff of five in our hometown of Boulder, Colorado, to over 500 schools and a growing team in Chicago, Los Angeles, Memphis, Indianapolis, Denver, and Detroit.

 

Garden Educator – Detroit

Team Detroit is currently seeking a full-time Garden Educator! The Garden Educator’s primary responsibility is to work with Big Green’s Program Team and serve as the main point of contact for +/- 30 local schools with Learning Gardens. Team Colorado is currently seeking a full-time Garden Educator! The Garden Educator’s primary responsibility is to work with Big Green’s Program Team and serve as the main point of contact for +/- 30 local schools with Learning Gardens. Curriculum Manager

The Curriculum Manager is responsible for overseeing Big Green’s two major curricular offerings – Garden Bites and Real Food Lab – as well as our broader K-12 garden-based education initiatives (GBEI).
