Since 2011, Big Green has provided a real food education to students in underserved schools across the country. We have grown from a handful of Learning Gardens and a staff of five in our hometown of Boulder, Colorado, to over 500 schools and a growing team in Chicago, Los Angeles, Memphis, Indianapolis, Denver, and Detroit.

Regional Program Assistant – Indianapolis

The Program Assistant position is designed to support Big Green’s Program Team in Indianapolis as they serve Learning Garden Teams and school communities. Regional Program Assistant – Detroit

Garden Support & Education Internship

Garden Support & Education interns support program activities in participating schools to ensure they have the skills, materials, and confidence to successfully grow vegetables and teach in their Learning Garden.  As an intern, you’ll work closely with a small regional team consisting of a Program Manager, Garden Educators, and Program Assistants, and may have the opportunity to interact with various members of the Home Office team. Click here to read the full job description.
