Make Our Day connects learning to life through hands-on education, mentorship, and real-world skill-building. In our garden classroom, we grow minds and futures while creating alternative paths to education and employment.
Every year, Make Our Day works with about 400 students in our camps and classes, awards around 50 scholarships to kids who need a financial or educational boost, and creates over 10 part-time jobs for teens through our job training programs. Since we began, more than 40 teens have completed our leadership training—ready to lead in their schools and communities—and 3 first-generation students have gone on to college with help from our donors.
