Announcing Challenge 200

Big Green plans to build 200 Learning Gardens in Chicago Public schools, reaching one third of all students, and creating the single largest school garden network in a US city!

Big Green has built over 180 Learning Gardens in Chicago since 2012. A Learning Garden is a powerful teaching tool, a way for kids to learn about healthy food, and a way to provide hands-on learning experiences for children across Chicago. The Challenge 200 campaign will dramatically expand our reach in Chicago Public Schools, impacting over 125,000 students every day. We’re only a handful of gardens away from making history, but we need your help! To find out how you can help, contact us today!
