Seeding
Marigolds can grow up to 1-3 ft. tall depending on the variety, and therefore can require a significant amount of space to grow. To plant marigold, make one hole in the soil in the middle of your grow bag, and plant 2-3 seeds to increase the chances of germination. Thin to 1 plant once they have sprouted.

Harvest when flowers are fully open but still have tight centers. Allow flowers to completely dry on the plant to save seeds.

Garden Tips
Marigolds are bright sun-loving flowers that come in shades of yellow, orange, and red. Their strong scent and natural compounds help protect nearby plants from harmful insects like whiteflies, and aphids and nematodes which are root eating microbes in the soil.
