New Roots Urban Farm is an organic Black-led farm based in North St. Louis City, Missouri. Our mission is to build an intentional, sustainable food system as an alternative to our current food system that contributes to pollution and waste, and degrades local economies.
New Roots Urban Farm provides its low-income community with 5,000 pounds annually of fresh, healthy produce. We build the capacity of urban farmers to establish and/or grow successful farming operations by providing regenerative agriculture education and job training. We also provide food justice education to young people through field trips and summer camps on the farm.
