Winter Planning and Teaching in your Garden Workshop: November 8th at William McKinley School 39
Our winter planning and teaching workshop will focus on the skills you need to maintain your winter garden, tips and demonstrations on how to use the garden with your classes, and some strategies for you to plan out classroom engagement for the spring!
We will cover mulching and maintaining your garden beds, along with demonstrations for engaging students in this process. We will also go over how to incorporate general garden maintenance into your school culture and classroom routine, and how to include garden related lessons into your annual curriculum map.
The workshop will be held on Wednesday, November 8th from 5:00-7:00 pm and free of charge to all Big Green network teachers and garden team members.
