Fall/Winter Learning Garden Workshop

The weather is cooling, the leaves are changing, and your garden is winding down. As another growing season comes to an end, Big Green is here to help you plan for your final harvest and cover everything you need to know about prepping your Learning Garden for the winter.

Join us on Wednesday, October 3rd from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Matchbook Learning @ Wendell Phillips School 63 where we will review harvest and produce storage skills, winter crops and planting methods, soil care and top offs, and ways to keep your school engaged during the colder months.

As we cover each garden skill we will also highlight ways you can use the garden to bring lessons and learning to life. For our newest Garden Team members, we will go over Learning Garden basics. As always, there will be guided group discussion for peer sharing and learning.

Everyone who attends our workshop will automatically be entered to win one of several great prizes! Prizes will be announced as we approach the day of the workshop!
