- Shelby County Schools: The Science and STEM Departments have been supports of the learning gardens, and helped teacher receive Professional Development Big Green Learning Garden Workshops. The STEM Manager, Dedric McGhee works closely with Big Green helping connect science and literacy curriculum to the learning gardens.
- Clean Memphis: Clean Memphis is a 501(c)(3) grassroots organization founded in 2008 by a group of concerned citizens who believe that a cleaner city will help to reduce crime, promote a sense of pride in community and cultivate economic prosperity. Clean Memphis offers free age appropriate In-School programs, and Hand-on Interactive activities. Schools can participate in the Sustainable School Challenge which focuses on the three pillars of the Department of Education’s Green Ribbon Schools designation which are: reducing environmental impact and costs, improving health and wellness, and providing effective environmental and sustainability education. Clean Memphis added teaching in a learning garden as a way for schools to meet goals within the health and wellness pillar!
- Serve901: Serve901 curates service experiences for college students to understand and serve Memphis. Students visiting Memphis have volunteered with Big Green Garden Educators at schools during Spring and Fall Planting Days.
