Crain’s Chicago | Kimbal Musk on why Chicago is a good fit for The Kitchen

Kitchen Cafe LLC, a restaurant chain with a nonprofit arm,announced last week it was coming to Chicago.

The 6,500-square-foot restaurant, Kitchen, is going into River North on North Clark Street near the river. It will serve lunch and dinner, and feature patio seating and a full bar. Lunch will average $30; dinner about $60, said Kimbal Musk, co-owner of the Boulder, Colo.-based restaurant. He’s the brother of Tesla Motors Inc. founder Elon Musk.
