As we begin to settle in to the cold season here in Chicago, we gathered together (virtually) to discuss ways to incorporate gardening and cooking education into the classroom.

In the chat, we were also joined by our Curriculum Manager, Dianna Zeegers, who demonstrated a lesson from the Ready, Set Grow curriculum.
In this session, we were joined by Pilot Light’s Caitlin Arens, who welcomed us into her kitchen to show us an easy way to prepare potatoes and root vegetables, and a quick and easy delicious green bean recipe. We also touched on how to talk about the Thanksgiving holiday with students, and modified holiday plans for this year. Chat Recording
