Beneficial Insects Workshop for Urban Growers

From soil fertility and organic matter to pollinators and pests, gardeners are always trying to find the right balance. Here in Indianapolis we have a fantastic team of experts at the Marion County Soil and Water Conservation District who are dedicated to helping local growers do their best by their land. They offer cover crop seeds, mulching guidance, nutrient suggestions and runoff expertise to anyone interested in growing.

This December the Soil and Water Conservation District is leading a workshop titled Growing Food with Beneficial Insects and Pollinators hosted by The Nature Conservancy of Indianapolis. If you’re curious how you can better support the delicate insect relationships needed for pollination and pest control, mark your calendar for Friday December 6.
